AbstractNowadays, Internet of Things (IoT) related researches are evolving rapidly and users are shifting from local servers to community data centers. Therefore, industries/researchers are desperately in need of solutions that can improve the lifestyle of people living in both urban and rural areas by incorporating IoT technology. The IoT technologies aim to build an Internet based infrastructure of smart machines/objects/things where each machine can interact/communicate with physical objects based on standard and interoperable communication protocols. As we know that, billions of physical objects will be incorporated in IoT networks by the year 2030. To enhance and facilitate the IoT infrastructure, we need to develop an efficient and reliable IoT stack to support and provide solutions for building a smart community. Therefore, in this talk we highlight the issues in building a smart community and offer their solutions based on IoT applications.
