Abstract

Computer Network is significant aspect of our day-to-day life now by which we can share the information via different technologies such as Wired or Wireless. With recent boom in Smart Phones and Tablet cum Portable Computing technology, wide adaption is observed in Wireless Communications due to various advantages in terms of Simple Installation, Mobility, Configuration, Cheap Hardware and Wire Free. But, Wireless Networks are open to various Attacks in terms of Sniffing, Man-In-the-Middle Attacks, Password Hacking, Denial of Service and many more.
 
This lecture will focus on elaborating the Security Importance of Wireless Networks, Attacks surrounding wireless networks, protocols available to secure wireless networks, trends in Wireless Security as well as complete hands on Securing a Wireless Device with Security Options, hack-proof wireless network implementation.
