Abstract

The worldwide popularity of Cryptocurrencies has led to the rise of Blockchain, which is regarded as public digital ledger to share information in a trustworthy and secure way. Blockchain is poised to change IT in the same manner as Open Source software did some years ago. As Blockchain is based on distributed, peer-to-peer topology, where data can be stored globally on thousands of server- and anyone on the network can see everyone else’s entries in real time.  Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can replace the modern banking terminology and transaction with software with a Distributed and secure database called “Blockchain”.
 
The Lecture will give deep insight towards- Blockchain and related terminologies, Distributed Ledger, Smart Contracts, Current Businesses Adapting Blockchain and Security parameters around Blockchain.
