Automotive Cyber Security: Perspective and Challenges
Speaker: Madhusudan Singh – Daejeon, Republic of KoreaTopic(s): Networks and Communications
Abstract
In recent years we have observed that the automotive industry with advances in computing technologies are successfully opening the path towards autonomous vehicles. The automotive industry has started to address issues of cybersecurity regarding vehicles by minimizing the risk and working on possible solutions to the underlying cybersecurity threats. As we know, the autonomous vehicle needs the connection with information communication technology, intelligent transportation system, artificial intelligence for decision-making solutions. However, any approved solution does not exist to solve the cyber-security problems of the autonomous vehicle yet. In this talk, we would like to discuss the cybersecurity risk analysis, highlighting the known threats, and gained knowledge from past attacks. And also focus on the perspective and challenges in cybersecurity attack, minimizing risk, and possible solutions to automotive cybersecurity threats.About this Lecture
