Abstract

This talk provides an overview of the current and future standards in the area of vehicular networks. The talk explains the two types of vehicular network standards, one based on Wi-Fi based technology and other based on cellular technology. The talk explains the details of IEEE 802.11p and IEEE 802.11 bd standards. Furthermore, the talk also explains the C-V2X and 5G NR standards for vehicular networks.
