User Centric e-Infrastructure

Speaker:  Jysoo Lee – Daejeon, Republic of Korea
Topic(s):  Human Computer Interaction

Abstract

Construction of any infrastructure requires active interaction between users and providers. When emerging technology is applied to users who are not familiar with technology, such as in the cases of e-infrastructure or cybeinfrastructure, it poses a different challenge. I will discuss various social and technical issues involved in planning and execution of such efforts. Several specific examples, along with lessons learned, will be discussed.
