Twelve Ways to Make Code Suck Less

Speaker:  Venkat Subramaniam – Broomfield, CO, United States
Topic(s):  Software Engineering and Programming

Abstract

The quality of the code we create has a significant impact on our ability to change the software in the future. As programmers succumb to time and deliver pressures, the quality of code may get neglected. The code then becomes hard to maintain and that in turn increases the time for development and delays product release. In this presentation we will look at twelve specific ways in which we can keep our focus on creating better quality maintainable code.
