Speaker:  Qi Han – Golden, CO, United States
Topic(s):  Networks and Communications

Abstract

Various forms of groups exist in social interactions.  In recent years, due to the increasing popularity of mobile devices such as smartphones, these dynamic groups can be monitored by exploiting the collaborative capabilities of these mobile devices.  In this talk, I will first describe QueueSense,  a system for collaborative recognition of queuing behavior using mobile phones.  I will present a few technical details on what queuing features are extracted and how different queuing lines are partitioned.
