AI Support for Architecture

Speaker:  Mohamed Zahran – New York, NY, United States
Topic(s):  Architecture, Embedded Systems and Electronics, Robotics

Abstract

There are a handful of chips to support machine learning (ML) training and many startups that design chips for inference. All of this is the hardware support for AI. In this talk, we will discuss the other way around. How can AI be used to make the hardware more efficient? Can we design a computer system that gets better and better as it executes more program? Can a computer hardware learn from executing programs and use this knowledge to execute other programs more efficiently?
