Become or Nominate a Speaker
Thank you for your interest in the nominating yourself or a colleague as an ACM Distinguished Speaker. ACM's Distinguished Speakers Program Committee votes on the acceptability of all nominated speakers. Each committee member rates nominees on a 1-to-5 scale. Candidates who receive ratings of "3" or better are accepted. Nominees must provide the committee with their CV as well as answers to the following questions via the online nomination form:
- Number of recent (within the last 3 years) talks/speeches/short courses/presentations that you have made. Please provide the titles and topics of these presentations, as well as the approximate audience size.
- Minimum of 5 years experience (either in academia or industry or a combination of both).
Nominations will be sent to committee members on an ongoing basis, and decisions usually take no longer than two weeks. For more informaiton, please visit our ACM Speakers Policies webpage.
