Abstract

In this lecture, I will discuss a hybrid deployment model of blockchain for open and transparent governance in smart cities. The lecture will present participatory application in which inhabitants of a smart city drives a change i.e., proposing new projects, services, or up-gradation/transformation of existing facilities. The lecture will shed light on how inhabitants can track the progress of a proposed change and how it is being supported by the concerned government entities.
