Abstract
The contribution to Community and Environment is part of every body’s responsibility. The lecture on “Use of Open Data for Sustainable Community” is an attempt to bring out value of open data to meet most of the sustainable goals. Open data is freely available to use and carry out research from various perspectives to solve diverse critical problems. This lecture will present real life case studies to make participants understand the entire life cycle of data science using open data. As the topic suggests, the lecture shall focus at some of the specific issues in the areas of environment, agriculture and healthcare through the lens of Data Science. I believe that the above three areas chosen have deep relevance in today’s world. The intent is to explore these open data from a Data & Analytics perspective and identify cracks through which deeper inroads can be made.About this Lecture
