Distributed Machine Learning: Basic and AlgorithmsSpeaker: Ming Xiao – Stockholm, Sweden
Topic(s): Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural language processing
AbstractIn this talk, we will talk one distributed machine learning (DML) schemes. We start from the introduction of optimization, convex optimization, motivation of distributed machine learning. Then we discuss the motivation of DML. Then we discuss the structure of DML and one key algorithm of DML, namely, Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers (ADMM). A few parallel methods will also be given.
