Speaker: Federica Sarro – London, United KingdomTopic(s): Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural language processing , Software Engineering and Programming
Abstract
Software Fairness is an emerging property of modern AI-enabled software systems.
Many real-world software is vulnerable to fairness bugs and frequently exhibit unfair behaviours, making software fairness an increasingly important concern for software engineers. How to support engineers to realise fair software systems is still an open challenge and recent research has been focusing on helping software engineers to detect and repair fairness bugs automatically. In this talk, I will present multi-objective optimisation solutions proposed to tackle this problem by my research group and others, as well as discuss open challenges and opportunities.
