The Future of Computing in the Era of Embodied Intelligence

Speaker:  Peyman Moghadam – Brisbane, QLD, Australia
Topic(s):  Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural language processing

Abstract

We are entering a new era where AI is no longer confined to the cloud, it is becoming embodied AI agents that are learning by interacting with the physical world through self-supervision. In this lecture, I will explore how advances in embodied reasoning are redefining the very fabric of computing. Along the way, we’ll dive into key enablers that are making real-world generalization a reality.  As we shift toward computing rooted in physical embodiment, this transformation opens up a new AI paradigm, one that could help us better understand not only intelligent systems, but also other aspects of life on Earth and beyond.
