While petascale machines were once adequate, we are now witnessing a demand for the exascale machines that will enable the next wave of scientific discoveries. Clearly, building an efficient Exascale machine is no small feat. In this talk, I will discuss the challenges involved in this pursuit and discuss possible solutions.
