With the emergence of new technologies, increase in the volume, velocity, veracity, and variety of data calls for new techniques to deal with security issues in systems. Traditional static security mechanisms won’t suffice. Therefore, AI has become the bread and butter for the security of complex system that deal with lots of data with heterogenous backgrounds. This lecture sheds light on the role AI has played (and currently playing) in providing cybersecurity solutions in a multitude of environments.
