Presentation 101

Speaker:  Michele Lanza – Lugano, Switzerland
Topic(s):  Society and the Computing Profession

Abstract

Giving presentations is a cornerstone of the computing profession. It is rather bizarre to see how little most researchers know about how to design, create, and deliver professional presentations. In this talk I will illustrate the many principles that come into play when one needs to create a professional presentation, and I will illustrate through several examples both bad and good presentation patterns.
