This extends from understanding clinical work, patient experience, and the requirements for new technologies, through design, implementation and deployment, through to checking that the resulting system works as intended. </div> <div> <br/> </div> <div> I present an overview of the system development lifecycle and discuss methods for incorporating Human Factors throughout that lifecycle. Although many of the principles are general, applying to any kind of interactive system, I focus in this talk on the application of these general principles within the context of health technologies
