Abstract
Serious software failures plague our profession. Software testing and risk analysis can only impact certain factors to reduce software failures. Proactive methodologies and strategies that identify potential risks and provide an opportunity to reduce the negative impacts of developed systems will be illustrated with international projects on e-voting, medical software, and data analytics.
