Abstract
Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the emerging technologies and prevailing research areas in recent years. It gives numerous opportunities to create new interaction style and user experiences. In such highly integrated area, there are many disciplines contributed to AR research such as computer vision, tracking technologies, human- computer interaction etc. The presentation will give an overview of AR, discuss the current state-of-the-art progress and future research directions.
