Bio:

Dr. N. Sklavos is an Associate Professor (tenured), in Computer Engineering and Informatics Department (CEID), Polytechnic School, University of Patras, Hellas.

He is Director of SCYTALE Group.

He has participated to a great number of European and National projects, with both research and development activities, funding by the European Commission or\and National resources.

He serves as Evaluator\Reviewer, of European Commission Project Calls, and National Project Calls of several countries.

He is Associate Editor of ACM Digital Threats: Research and Practice, IEEE VLSI Circuits and Systems Letters, and IET Networks. He was the Editor-in-Chief (EiC) of Information Security Journal: a Global Perspective, Taylor Francis Group. He served as Associate Editor of Microprocessors and Microsystems: Embedded Hardware Design, Elsevier, Information Security Journal: a Global Perspective, Taylor Francis Group, Computers and Electrical Engineering Journal, Elsevier, and Electrical & Computer Engineering Journal, Hindawi. He has been invited as Guest Editor of several Special Issues.

He has received several scientific awards, for his research activities.

Nicolas Sklavos is IEEE, Senior Member. He served as Council’s Chair, of IEEE Greece Young Professionals.

He serves as Member of Task Force for ACM/IEEE-CS/AAAI Computer Science Curricula.

He is ACM Distinguished Speaker, and ACM, Professional Member. He is Associated Member of European Network of Excellence (HiPEAC).

He has participated to a great number of committees for several international conferences organized by IEEE, ACM, IFIP, as General Chair, Program Chair, Publication Chair, Publicity Chair, PCM, and with other roles.

N. Sklavos has authored technical and scientific articles, published in journals, conferences, both books, books chapters, tutorials, and technical reports, in the areas of his research. He has been invited as keynote speaker to several international conferences, workshops, summer schools etc.

The results of his research have been referred many times, in scientific and technical literature.
